A delegation from Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong and Macao, led by its Ambassador and Consul General Mr. Mitsuhiro Wada, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Prof. Yonghua Song, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Jean Jinghan Chen, Program Director of Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management Prof. Shigemi Furuta, Director of Global Affairs Office Ms. Cindy Lam and Functional Head of International Collaboration & Office Administration, Global Affairs Office Ms. Kiran Lei. Rector Song introduced the history as well as the programmes of UM. Ambassador Wada was impressive about the strengths and engagements in IIRM area and wish to cooperate with UM to nurture the IIRM talent in Japan.

The delegation visited the ISCG Gaming Laboratory (Mock Casino), Mock Hotel Room and Currency Museum in Faculty of Business Administration and the Wu Yee Sun Library, and was warmly welcomed by Librarian, Dr. Wu Jian Zhong.

The delegation member includes Consul (Political / Economic Affairs) Ms. Mari Takada and Consul Mr. Tomofumi Koida.
