A delegation from Guangdong Province Government led by Mr. Tang Hao, the Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) visit UMacau on 11 August 2016. The delegation was warmly received by UMacau’s Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Lionel Ni, Director of Global Affairs Da Hsuan Feng, and Dean of Social Science Yufan Hao.
The delegation had meeting with the representatives of UMacau’s Centre of Macau Studies, and exchanged ideas to strengthen the cooperation between Guangdong Province and Macau, especially to elevate the effort of youth development. And the delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, Deputy Director of ICMS Richard Ye introduced the laboratory facility and academic result to the guests. Tang praised UMacau for its recent development and academic achievement, and expressed his expectation upon UMacau’s future development.
