On 18 August, delegates from University of Kitakyushu, referred by Dr. Jonathan CHOI, Chairman of Sunwah Group and Council Memeber of Universiry of Macau and led by Mr. Susumu ISHIHARA, Chairman of University of Kitakyushu and Chairman of JR Kyushu (Japan Railway Kyushu), paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Daniel TSE, Chair of University Council and Prof. Wei ZHAO, Rector of the University of Macau.
Besides Dr. Tse and Prof. Zhao, the delegates also met with representatives from the Faculty of Business Administration, including Prof. Rose LAI, Associate Dean of Research and Development, and Dr. Amy SO, Program Coordinator of Hospitality and Gaming Program.
President of University Kitakyushu, Prof. Michiaki KONDO, has signed an agreement with the University of Macau to officiate collaboration between both universities.
The delegates, other than Mr. Ishihara and Prof. Kondo, include Prof. Kihara, Vice President of University of Kitakyushu; Prof. Xiao-Ping WANG, Dean of Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Kitakyushu; Mr. KURATA, Manager of JR Kyushu and assistant to Mr. Ishihara; Mr. IWASHIGE, General Manager, International Affairs, Kyukeiren (九州經濟連合會) and Mr. Shigemi FURUTA, Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
