The University of Macau (UM) continues to promote the internationalization of higher education and expand its network of collaborations with overseas institutions. From November 13 to 16, 2025, Chunming Wang, Director of Global Affairs Office at UM and a delegation, visited renowned universities in Hanoi, Vietnam. During the visit, the team held two course briefing sessions with top local universities and educational institutions, providing Vietnamese students with a comprehensive understanding of UM’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs, research achievements, and international learning environment. This marks the second visit by the Global Affairs Office to Vietnamese universities this year, further deepening practical cooperation.
The two interactive sessions attracted nearly 200 Vietnamese teachers, students, and related parties. The UM team introduced its academic strengths, research facilities, multicultural campus atmosphere, and English-medium teaching features, while engaging in in-depth discussions on related topics. Parents and students actively raised questions, and the lively atmosphere reflected the strong interest of Vietnamese students in UM’s internationalized education.
In addition, the delegation visited VinUniversity, where they met with Hanh Bui, Director of International Affairs, to discuss academic research, faculty and student exchanges, and future collaborative projects. VinUniversity has experienced rapid development in recent years, particularly in its internationalization efforts. The delegation also visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, member of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, where they were warmly received by Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong. Building on the existing student exchange agreement and memorandum of understanding with Vietnam National University, both sides expressed hopes to establish closer ties and deepen talent cooperation and exchange.
