The Global Affairs Office of the University of Macau (UM) organised ‘International Night 2024’, which attracted the participation of more than 220 students from 46 countries and regions, including Angola, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mozambique, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, and the US. During his speech at the event, UM Vice Rector Rui Martins said that the university will continue to promote international exchange programmes and activities this year. He expressed hope that both international and exchange students at UM will utilise the learning opportunities at the university, immerse themselves in the international atmosphere of the campus, and experience Macao’s unique culture. The event featured cultural performances by students. Faculty and students also shared their experiences and advice on overseas exchanges.
