On 15 January 2020, Global Affairs Office held the annual spotlight event “International Night” which attracted some 200 students. At the event, many country booths were set up to let students learn first-hand study-abroad advice, pre-departure tips and exchange experience shared by exchange students as well as alumni and advisors of exchange programmes. Students also got a chance to go on stage to showcase their traditional costumes and introduce the culture in their home countries.
Prof. Rui Martins, Vice Rector of Global Affairs gave the welcome remarks and encouraged the students to actively participate in the exchange programmes to broaden their horizons. Furthermore, the International Student Scholarship Schemes and Incoming Exchange Scholarship were introduced to students and hope the students could bring the message to their families and friends.
