Nearly 40 faculty members and students from Tsinghua University, who are participants in a summer programme in Hong Kong and Macao studies, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). The guests attended talks organised by UM’s Global Affairs Office. They also visited the Macao Garrison of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and local cultural heritages sites and museums. Co-organised by Tsinghua University, UM, and Hong Kong Baptist University, the trip aimed to help participants gain a better understanding of the economic and social developments of Macao as well as the history and culture of the city.
