Prof. Robert Clark, senior vice president for research at the University of Rochester, and Prof. Zhang Xicheng, director of the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). They were warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Research) Prof. Rui Martins, and Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof. Haydn Chen. Prof. Clark and Prof. Zhang also met with Prof. Mok Kai Meng, dean of the Honours College (HC), and HC students. Prof. Clark noted that the visit helped him to learn more about UM and strengthened the communication and collaboration between the two universities.
