Dr Erik Lithander, Pro Vice-Chancellor of University of Bristol visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Rector Yonghua Song, Dean of Honours College Rose Lai, Associate Director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMSV) Elvis Mak, and Director of Global Affairs Office Cindy Lam. Both parties look forward to work out the official cooperation in the near future, especially on student exchange and cooperative research programs.

During the visit, Rector Song shared UM’s latest developments, campus facilities and academic achievements. Dr Lithander praised UM for its learning environment and its efforts in training academic and research personnel. Through the meeting with Dean of Honours College and Associate Director and assistant professor of AMSV respectively, Dr Lithander was impressive by the comprehensive leadership programs and studying opportunity at international elite universities offered by Honours College, as well as the outstanding research result on microelectronics achieved by AMSV. Also, with accompany of Prof Kevin Thompson, college Master, Dr Lithander visited Moon Chun Memorial College.
