A delegation from the China National Space Administration, led by its Secretary General Tian Yulong, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM University Council Chair Lam Kam Seng, Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Lionel Ni, and Rector’s Office Director Lao Chi Nga. Both parties exchanged ideas on UM’s educational philosophy and development in scientific research. During the visit, Lam told the guests about UM’s latest developments, academic structure, campus development, and directions for future development. Tian praised UM for its learning environment and laboratories. He expressed hope that the university will continue to commercialise its research results. Members of the delegation also visited laboratories in the Faculty of Science and Technology and the UM Wu Yee Sun Library.
