A delegation led by Sangay Dorjee, Dean of Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, visited the University of Macau (UM) today (16 June) and was warmly received by Rui Martins, vice rector of UM.

Martins gave the delegation an introduction on UM’s historical development, internationalization efforts, research achievements, and curriculum design to the delegation. Both sides engaged in discussions on deepening research collaboration, enhancing student and academic exchanges, and talent cultivation.

The delegation also visited the University Gallery, Moot Court in the Faculty of Law and Centre for Judicial and Legal Studies of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, and expressed appreciation for UM’s research development and its educational philosophy of a well-rounded education.

The Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law is Bhutan’s first and only law school, dedicated to cultivating Bhutan’s future legal leaders and professional talents.
