Mr. WeiJing Huang, vice-chairman of the People’ s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region visits University of Macau
A delegation from the People’ s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, led by its vice-chairman WeiJing Huang, today(12 April) visited University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Lionel Ni, Director of Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, Yitao Wang and Interim Director of Global Affairs Office, Carol Wong.
Rector Song and Vice Rector Ni introduced the history of UM, overall construction plan of campus and the development direction of UM.
Director Wang introduced the ICMS’s development plan and training outstanding scientific research talents to the delegation. Huang also visited the Research Center of Efficacy Research and Research Center of Controllability Research to demonstrate the achievements of the scientific research team over the years. Huang believes that the advanced laboratory equipment of the University of Macau is beneficial to the country’s cultivation of scientific and technological talents, and he wishes to strengthen the exchanges and deepen cooperation between the University of Macau and Guangxi Province in the relevant Chinese medicine area.
