A delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Border Defense Corps, led by the political commissar Zhao Changhua, visited the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao. During the meeting, Rector Zhao told the guests about the latest developments of the campus and UM’s philosophy of education, and thanked the corps for their longstanding support for UM. Zhao stressed the importance of building a ‘smart border’ and a ‘smart campus’ in view of the rapid advancements in science and technology. Both parties exchanged ideas on matters related to border security.
