On March 28, Ricardo Wheatley, the Director / Asia Pacific Representative of British Virgin Islands (BVI) Government Representative Office and his delegation visited the University of Macau (UM) to learn about the university’s latest development. They were warmly received by Director of Global Affairs Office Ruibing Wang and other UM representatives.
During the meeting, Functional Head of the Global Affairs Office (GAO) Ms. Kiran Lei introduced UM’s history, its recent development and the international student admission. Director Wheatly expressed his pleasure at visiting UM and mentioned that UM and the BVI has established the agreement on educational and academic cooperation. He will continue to promote UM to perspective BVI students in order to attract more students to come study at UM. Ms. Lei expressed that UM look forward to welcoming students from BVI and hopefully there will be more cultural exchange and academic cooperation between UM and BVI in future.
