A delegation led by Lei Jie, chairman of Jinan committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector (Administration) Kou Mei. Lei praised UM for its academic achievements and campus environment and expressed hope to increase collaboration between universities in Macao and Jinan. Rector Song told the guests about the Wall of Great Wisdom, UM’s educational philosophy, as well as its academic and research developments. Members of the delegation also visited the UM Gallery, Choi Kai Yau College, and the Faculty of Law.
