A delegation from University of Aveiro, led by its Director of the Technology Transfer Office José Paulo Rainho, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song, Vice Rector (Global Affairs) Rui Martins, Director of Institute Centre for Innovation Jerome Yen, and Director of Global Affairs Cindy Lam.
During the visit, the delegation visited UM’s Institute Centre for Innovation and had meeting with meeting with representatives from Research Services and Knowledge Transfer Office. Mr Rainho was impressed with the UM’s efforts on promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship and development of intellectual property and technology transfer. Through this visit, both sides hope to explore any collaboration and technology exchange between the two universities.

University of Aveiro is a top Portuguese university, providing polytechnic education. Founded in 1973, it has a student population of approximately 12,500.
