A delegation led by Charlotte Holland, Dean of Global Relations at Dublin City University (DCU), visited the University of Macau (UM) today (12 May) and was warmly received by Rui Martins, vice rector of UM. The visit is a continuation of the momentum from the successful visit to DCU earlier this year. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation between the two universities and promoting talent development.
Martins gave the delegation an overview of UM’s current development, the vision of the UM campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and the potential partnership between UM and DCU. He looks forward to deepening cooperation with DCU to enhance student and academic exchanges and nurture talent with a global perspective.
The delegation also visited the University Gallery, the Wu Yee Sun Library, and Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). Holland spoke highly of UM’s unique teaching models and current development.
