Zhang Xiaoming, director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM University Council Chair Lam Kam Seng, Rector Yonghua Song, and Vice Rector Rui Martins. Song told Zhang about UM’s commitment to nurturing outstanding graduates and the university’s latest achievements. Zhang visited UM’s three state key laboratories and Choi Kai Yau College. He recognised UM’s effort in teaching and research, adding that the beautiful campus provides an excellent environment for study and research.
