On 21 January, 2016, a delegation from Renmin University of China led by Executive Vice Chairman Zhang Jianming visited the University of Macau. The delegation was warmly received by Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Prof. Ming-Shuan Ni, Dean of FBA Prof. Yuk-Chow So, Associate Dean (Research & Development) of FBA Prof. Neng Lai, Master of CKPC Prof. Chuan Sheng Liu and Associate University Librarian Dr. Kwok Keung Wong.
Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Prof. Ming-Shuan Ni introduced the history, current situation and prospect of UM. The delegation visited Chao Kuang Piu College and Wu Yee Sun Library. After the introduction of College Master Prof. Liu Chuan Sheng and Associate University Librarian Dr. Wong Kwok Keung, the delegation got a deeply understanding of Residential College system and library facilities. Executive Vice Chairman Zhang Jianming praised the excellent academic atmosphere of UM. Two universities expected further cooperation in future.
