A delegation formed by the consul generals of 21 countries to Hong Kong and Macao recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Prof Wei Zhao, rector of UM; Prof Lionel Ni, vice rector (academic affairs); Prof Rui Martins, vice rector (research); and Prof Da Hsuan Feng, director of global affairs and special advisor to the rector. During the meeting, Rector Zhao told the guests about UM’s latest developments and plans for the future, educational philosophy, ‘4-in-1’ model of education, and residential college system. The guests praised UM for its excellent learning environment and advanced model of education. Members of the delegation also visited UM’s State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine.
